The Makery medialab is preparing its first major public event, Open Source Body, that will take place from January 22-27, 2018 in Paris. This international meeting dedicated to the open science movement and more specifically to open equipment for healthcare will offer conferences and “unconferences”, performances and workshops in order to cover an underlying trend in France operating in biohacklabs and other DIYbiolabs: promoting and sharing science for all. We will tell you more in a couple of weeks. We are already calling on all the prototypers and makers who would like to show their projects and prototypes through demos and/or small conferences at the Gaîté lyrique resource center, on January 27 in the afternoon intended for the general public. If you have an equipment prototype (open hardware) for biology or medicine, or an open science project that you would like to bring to the attention of the public and the community, make yourself known to Makery before December 1 (over here)!
